To mark 12th June 2021 World Gin Day we couldn’t resist the temptation to focus this weeks blog on venues providing gin! Special, beautiful locations and iconic; here is a taster of some of the best venues & experiences whether you wish to meet or celebrate with colleagues or clients.

BOMBAY SAPPHIRE DISTILLERY

Step inside the distillery at Laverstone Mill in rural Hampshire and you’ll discover all the secrets behind their world famous gin. The flagship event space, The Gallery, can be hired for celebrations up to 200 or for a medium size meetings of up to 40. From the iconic intertwining glasses houses to the exclusive Empire Room – the spaces are guaranteed to create a wow factor backdrop for any type of event.

HENSOL CASTLE

Just outside Cardiff in the heart of the beautiful Vale of Glamorgan countryside, you’ll find Hensol Castle Distillery brewing nicely in the cellar of 17th century castle Hensol Castle. The combination of Hensol Castle which is steeped in history together with the modern vibes and fun nature of small-batch craft gin creates a truly distinctive experience. So no matter how far you’ve travelled you’re sure to have a great time. The distillery opens September 2021.

DE VERE TORTWORTH COURT & 6 O’CLOCK GIN

On the fringes of the Cotswolds, is where you’ll find this ancestral country seat, set within 30 acres of beautiful grounds. With a history dating back to the 11th Century, the original features of this Grade II listed property have been restored following a transformational £5m project across the mansion House, including refurbished bedrooms with the addition of 11 new suites, renovated event spaces and a refresh of the spa & gym. With local partner 6’O Clock Gin, you can take your meeting or event offsite to the Bristol distillery where you’ll be shown some of the secrets that go into the production of 6 O’clock Gin and Bramley & Gage fruit liqueurs.

COTSWOLDS DISTILLERY

Nestled in the heart of the Cotswold countryside, the distillery is the first full-scale distillery in the Cotswolds. They craft a range of single malt whiskies, gins and liqueurs, including the award-winning Cotswolds Dry Gin. Whilst the distillery has not been able to offer tasting experiences in the last 12 months (for obvious reasons) ordinarily they are able to accommodate private groups for tours and book the mezzanine space for corporate bookings. Light bites and refreshments are available from the café and of course fabulous gin and tonics and cocktails!
